October Colors

We picked the first of our pumpkins from the garden this week.  There are a dozen more still awaiting harvest.  I thought these looked so pretty on the deck in the morning light.  The blueberry bush leaves add some nice colors as well.

What About Socialization?

When we were in Ashland at Laura & Nick's place last week, I wandered into the living room one morning to see this delightful sight. Noah, Ben, and Blake were relaxing together, playing a game of Sorry! They were enjoying the game and having a good time together. I thought it was especially cool because of their differing ages: 6, 15, and 26. Although this isn't unusual for a bunch of unschoolers, it seemed like a good opportunity to capture a few sweet photos.
