We did stay far away from the malls, and we put up our tree and decorated the house with garlands and candles.
Unfortunately there was a trip to Home Depot for a couple necessities. Drat.
It sounds like you had a lovely day. Baby steps. :) I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your tree!
